Description

Murdle books: 100 mysteries to solve with logic and deduction

The Murdle collection brings together all of G. T. Karber's books published in Portuguese by Presença. In each case there are suspects, weapons and locations, and the reader follows the clues, interviews the witnesses and fills in a deduction grid until they can point the finger at the culprit. It's the worldwide puzzle book phenomenon, published in more than 20 countries.

Books you'll find in this collection

The main series starts with Murdle #1, continues with Murdle #2 and Murdle #3, each with 100 mysteries and 400 pages, and reaches Murdle #4, a more compact book with 50 cases. For younger readers there's the Murdle Júnior series: Murdle Júnior #1 with 40 mysteries, Murdle Júnior #2 with an adventure in space, and Murdle Júnior #3, Detetives à Solta, a novel with puzzles written with Chris Grabenstein.

Who is Murdle for?

The numbered volumes are designed for adults and teens aged 12 and up; the Júnior series is suitable for ages 8 and up. They're perfect books for vacations, trips and family game nights, and a safe gift for fans of crime fiction and sudoku. If you like visual puzzles, also discover the Murdoku books, or round out your gift with one of our 1000 piece puzzles.

How to choose the right volume

If you've never solved a logic puzzle, start with Murdle #1, which explains the rules step by step and increases the difficulty slowly. If you're already a fan, any later volume works, because the cases are independent. As a gift for a child, Murdle Júnior #1 is the safest choice; for a teen who loves reading, Murdle Júnior #3 combines a complete story with puzzles to solve throughout the chapters.

We only sell the official Portuguese edition, with fast shipping from Portugal. Find out more on our dedicated Murdle page. If you're not sure which one to choose, get in touch: we'll help you find the right option for every age and occasion.
