What Is the Stitch Movie and How Did It All Begin?
The Stitch movie story began in 2002 with the release of Lilo & Stitch, a Disney animated film that surprised audiences with an emotional story, quite different from the usual fairy tale.
Created by Chris Sanders, Stitch was “Experiment 626”: a genetically engineered creature designed to be destructive. But when he crash-lands on Earth and is adopted by Lilo, a lonely Hawaiian girl, the story takes a different turn. One of Disney's most iconic friendships was born.
Success was immediate, and Stitch quickly became a beloved figure, not only for children but also for many adults.
